Experience and create rhythm combinations of quarter, eighth and sixteenth notes creatively integrated with singing, dancing, drumming, body percussion and play. Guidelines are presented for a group project using assessment and student feedback. Final culmination results with all groups participating to create the final form.

Music Consultant
Chris Judah-Lauder, a Past President of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association, served as the 1995 AOSA Local Conference Chair, 2005 AOSA National Conference Chair in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the 2017 National Conference Chair in Fort Worth, Texas and is currently serving as an AOSA mentor. She has 40 years of experience teaching music to K-8th grade students in public and private schools. She has taught summer Orff Schulwerk courses to adults at thirteen universities over the past 30 years, presented over 200 conference sessions and workshops at national conferences, state music educators associations, school districts, and Orff chapters throughout the US and Canada. She is currently serving as a Music Consultant for Title One schools in Texas, working directly in the classroom with the music teacher. She has seventeen publications including: Drum with a Passion, In the Modes (Beatin’ Path Publ.); Recorder Games, (Sweet Pipes); and Games, Groups and Gems (Heritage Music).
