Call to Order - 6:06 p.m.
Roll Call and Introduction of Guests:

Reading of Previous Minutes:
Motion: MacGallgher/Hager to wave the reading of the
previous minutes.  Passed.

Treasurer's Report:
a) current Status of District Funds
b) proposed budget for next year - same as this year

Announcements:
none

Unfinished Business:
a) complete adjudicator evaluation forms, please turn
in by the end of May.
b) unpaid MPA CD's.
c) middle school MPA 2003 date problem.
Several new school calendar's conflict with the
original date of March 22 and 23, 2003.
Motion: MacGallagher/Hilliard to move the Middle
School MPA dates to April 25 and 26, 2003. Passed.

Committee Reports:

New Business:
none

Select Adjudicators for Next Year:
Suggestions were made for adjudicators that had been
helpful in the past or at other festivals.

Solicit Letters for Next Year Sites:
Letters already received from Sebring HS to host the
HS MPA.
Motion: MacGallagher/Hilliard to allow Stuart Middle
School to host All-State Auditions pending a letter to
the district.  Passed.

Nominations for adjudicators list:
Motion:  MacGallgher/Hager nominated Dave Plack for
Solo and Ensemble (woodwinds and brass), Marching and
Concert.  Passed.

Suggestions to any committees:
none

Proposals to the Executive Board
Motion:  Roadman/Lebon for the following proposal.
Passed.
Proposal:  The FBA clarify the wording in the handbook
regarding the classification of 2nd bands at high
school music performance assessments.  Currently, the
handbook states that all second bands are class C.
This is not accurate.  It should read that all second
bands will sight read class C music, but must perform
within regular class on the concert portion of the
Music Performance Assessment.

Good of the Association:
IRCC Band Camp will be held from June 17 through June
21, 2002. 
Okeechobee Golf Tournament in May. 
Lebon is publishing level one and two solos and
ensembles.

First District Meeting for Next Year:
Motion:  MacGallagher/Gilbert to have meeting August
17, 2003 at Okeechobee H.S. 9:00 a.m.  Passed.
