ITEM NO. 1 - CALL TO ORDER AND INTRODUCTORY REMARKS: The third meeting of the year was called to order by District Chairman, Paul Wilson, at 7:00pm.
ITEM NO. 2 - ROLL CALL AND INTRODUCTION OF NEW DIRECTOR'S AND GUESTS: John LaCognatta briefly introduced Joel Moody, the new associate band director of Winter Park High School. Attendance was handled via a sign up sheet.
ITEM NO. 3 - READING OF PREVIOUS MINUTES: There were no objections or changes to the previous minutes, so they stood approved as distributed.
ITEM NO. 4 - TREASURER'S REPORT:
Current bank balance - $18,216.53
ITEM NO. 5 - COMMUNICATIONS:

ITEM NO. 7 - COMMITTEE REPORTS
New Concert sheets are in effect this year. A format change is included. Bill Reinicke pointed out that the plus and minuses on the new sheets are still within a particular letter grade. Lee Sellers also clarified that the minus signified lower on a particular letter grade and a plus signified higher within that grade.
ITEM NO. 8 - NEW BUSINESS:
At the HS S&E you must list your concert titles. Final concert title change deadline is Feb. 18, but must be sooner if you want it correct in the program.
Final schedule should be ready by MS S&E. Title need to be ready by then. Concert title change deadline - March 25, but needs to be sooner if you want it correct in the program.

Dan Belognia nominated Chris Sharp, composer/arranger to the Jazz adjudicator list. It was suggested that Chris also be nominated to the brass S&E list so he could be more marketable. With an overwhelming majority, the district members voted to have Chris Sharp added to the Jazz adjudicator list.
