Josh Southard 

Josh Southard is the Music Specialist at Smoky Row Elementary School in Carmel, IN. There he teaches K-5 music, as well as a 5th grade Orff Ensemble, and was named the 2018 Teacher of the Year. In January of 2019, he was also named the Indiana Elementary Music Teacher of the Year by the Indiana Music Educators Association. He has completed all three levels of Orff-Schulwerk certification, as well as Orff Curriculum and Composition at Anderson University. He served as the Indiana Orff Schulwerk Association’s President from 2010-2014, and in 2011, he was appointed to the American Orff Schulwerk Association’s Historical Committee, where he served as the Chairperson of the committee from 2014-2017. Recently, he was elected to the National Board of Trustees of the American Orff Schulwerk Association, serving as the Regional VI Representative for Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Kentucky, W. Virginia, Illinois, and Michigan.
?Josh is a featured presenter at Orff workshops around the country, state and national conferences. He has also had articles published in both the Orff Echo and Reverberations. He now teaches Level I Orff Certification courses in Gwinnett County in Atlanta, GA, DePaul University in Chicago, IL, and Anderson University in Anderson, IN.

Lisa Sullivan 

Lisa Sullivan currently teaches K-2 music at Madison School in Skokie, IL. Previously, Lisa taught K-5 music at Mohawk Trails Elementary in Carmel, IN for 28 years. In 2017, Lisa was named the Elementary Music Teacher of the Year by Indiana MEA and in 2008, she was named Carmel Clay Teacher of the year. She holds a BM from Butler University and a MAE from Ball State University and published her first teacher resource during the summer of 2014 titled Playing with Improvisation: Technology with Integrity in the Orff Classroom. Lisa served three years as the Region VI representative for AOSA and has presented at multiple NAfME, AOSA, and IMEA conferences. During the summer months, Lisa teaches Orff Schulwerk Levels, Orff Curriculum, and Orff Technology at Anderson University in Anderson, IN and Orff Schulwerk Levels and Orff Curriculum at DePaul University in Chicago, IL. Lisa has also taught Orff Schulwerk Levels and Orff Curriculum for the Alvin ISD Orff Schulwerk program in Alvin, TX.
