Are you struggling managing your time, setting boundaries, and staying organized? This session offers strategies to help music teachers learn to create a healthy balance of home and work life, as well as how to effectively use various teaching methods to actively engage students. It will provide tips on how to simplify the classroom by integrating technology, as well as how to create an atmosphere of collaboration and learning for both teachers and students alike.
Christine Marr
Seminole Elementary School
K-5 Music Specialist
Christine Marr is the Music Teacher at Seminole Elementary School in Pinellas County, FL. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education in 2003 and is certified in Orff Schulwerk and World Music Drumming. Christine directs a variety of musical groups, including the Seminole Hawk Chorus and Seminole Beats, an extracurricular percussion ensemble. She was the Pinellas County Honors Orff Ensemble Director in 2023 and was named the Seminole Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2022. She currently serves as the President Elect of the Pinellas County Music Educators Association, as well as the District 3 Chair for the Florida Elementary Music Educators Association. Outside of the music room, Christine loves spending time with her husband, Ryan, her four amazing kids and their adorable Goldendoodle, Phoebe.
