Instruments Equipment Accessories Performance Attire

Historic levels of rain and flooding hit Orlando Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning. News of our flooded Football field compelled me to drive to campus. I was heartbroken to find 6 inches of water in our new 14 month old band building. The damage is devastating and will require an entire gutting the the inside. Most of our students had taken their instruments home but a few that were absent on the day we closed down did not.
I found 2 clarinets, 1 alto sax, and a trumpet under water. School instruments impacted by the flood waters include 3 of our Pearl Bass drums. (Thankfully snares and tenors were up on their stands) Pearl Air carriers for the entire line (5 basses, 1 tenor, 3 snares. A Pearl Malletstation. 2 Musser marching bells. 2 sousaphones cases on the ground. 2 brand new Yamaha Mellophones in their cases. 1 Selmer Bundy tenor sax, 1 Selmer LA Voix ll OFT, 1 Keilwerth Bari Sax. 1 Yamaha Marching Baritone, One Tuba exchange Concert Euphonium case. 24 Flags silks. and 24 swing flags silks. 5 Launchkey 37 (MK3) Keyboards. Sound System EV Speakers, 2 18's 4 15's. Bass Amplifier. Roland Keyboard Amp. Yamaha digital piano. Our Parade Banner and Black and Gold Plumes. Multiple Flip Folders (25) This is just what I know now. My entrance into the building was unauthorized and we no longer have access to the room.
