Session attendees will learn strategies for incorporating movement while simultaneously delivering ukulele instruction. Blending movement and ukulele instruction provides a kinesthetic approach to ukulele practice.
Please bring your ukulele as they will not be provided.
Lisa Langston
Eastbrook Elementary School
music teacher
Lisa Langston is a 29-year veteran music educator who has taught at Eastbrook Elementary for 25 years. In addition to her classroom position, Mrs. Langston also has three performing ensembles that include chorus, recorder, and ukulele. Mrs. Langston is an active and supportive member of the school and community. She is a board member for the Eastbrook SAC and is the teacher liaison for the PTA. She is also an active member of the Central Florida Orff Chapter and the Florida Music Educators Association, as well as the Co-Music Director at Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church. In recent years, Mrs. Langston has been an All-County Clinician for Seminole County, Orange County, and Volusia County.
